Dieser seltene Morris Mini Moke wurde als einer von nur wenigen Fahrzeugen mit einem demontierbaren Barton-Hardtop ausgerüstet und 1965 nach Israel an einen englischen Journalisten ausgeliefert . Laut Mini Moke Club ist dies wohl der Einzige mit Lüftungsklappen unter der Windschutzscheibe und von den nur 3 verbliebenen der Einzige Linkslenker.

Dieser Moke wurde in den letzten Jahren in England für etwa 40.000 Euro bei einem Moke-Spezialisten komplett restauriert und seither noch nicht gefahren .

Der Moke ist gut dokumentiert , Murray Sales, ein bekannter Journalist und Kriegsberichterstatter, erwarb diesen Moke im Jahre 1967 als Neuwagen in Israel! Er war damals wegen des 6-tage Krieges in Israel, Ägypten, Syrien und Jordanien unterwegs. Das Einzige Automobile das er damals in Tel Aviv kurzfristig erwerben konnte, war dieser linksgelenkte Moke. Den Boden der Karosserie sicherte er damals mit Sandsäcken für den Fall, dass er mal auf eine Miene fährt...

Eingestanzte israelische Zeichen der damaligen Zulassung sind noch am Fahrzeug sichtbar.

Nach dem Einsatz in Israel fuhr Murray mit dem Moke in seine Heimat nach Schottland ! Dort nutzte er den Wagen für sein Hobby : das Angeln. Miite der 70er wurde der Moke stillgelegt und in den 90ern vom damaligen Präsidenten des Moke-Club gefunden und zugelassen und später nach Berlin verkauft. Ende 2018 kam der Moke wieder nach England und wurde ab 2021 komplett restauriert. Der jetzige Besitzer hatte Kontakt mit den Erstbesitzer, die Historie ist gut dokumentiert. Ein Heritage Certificate kommt mit dem Fahrzeug ebenso wie die Dokumentation ( Rechnungen ) der Restaurierung . TÜV und H-Kennzeichen neu .

This rare Morris Mini Moke was one of only a few vehicles to be fitted with a removable Barton hardtop and was delivered to Israel in 1965 to an English journalist. According to the Mini Moke Club, this is probably the only one with ventilation flaps under the windscreen and the only left-hand drive car of the only 3 remaining.

This Moke was completely restored by a Moke specialist in England in recent years for around 40,000 euros and has not been driven since.

The Moke is well documented, Murray Sales, a wellknown Journalist, bought this Moke in 1967 in Israel as new car.He was reporting about the 6-days war and so he was on duty in Israel, Egypt, Syria and Jordan. The only car he could buy directly in Tel Aviv was this LHD Morris Moke. He secured the floor with sandsacks in case of driving over a mine. There are still israelian numbers that were stamped into the body visible. When this job was over, he drove the Moke from Israel to Scotland - his home - and there he bought this super rare Barton-Hardtop (which is removable of course). He used the car in the next years for his Hobby : Fishing.

In the middle of the 70s the car was stored away and in the 90s the Moke was found and registred by the President of the MOKE-Club and later sold to Berlin. end of 2018 the Moke came back to the UK and a full restoration was planned that started in 2021.

The current owner had contact to the first owner and history is documented. Heritage Certificate comes with the vehicle as well as the documentation (invoices) of the restoration. TÜV and H licence plate new.
