The Lotus Exige is one of those 'toys' that needs no introduction. In fact, just look at it and you'll realise that driving pleasure is guaranteed. Its small silhouette and the wheelbase of just 2.3 metres do nothing to hide the purpose of this little Group C prototype.

After fitting your body into the cockpit, with your feet firmly on the aluminium pedals and your hands gripping the small MOMO steering wheel, there is only one thing left to do – turn the key, let yourself be carried away by the pleasure of changing gears at 7800 RPM and throwing the little Lotus onto a national road full of curves and counter-curves!

As Jeremy Clarkson said, the Lotus Exige 'corners like a fly', and while the chassis and suspension are downright brilliant, the choice of powertrain for this Exige S is no less sublime.

The Toyota 2ZZ-GE, mounted directly behind the seats, squeals and screams without a hitch, lending this little 'racing car' reliability and, above all, speed! Thanks to the supercharger, this 1.8 engine produces 225 hp, enough power to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds!

Configured in Ardent Red, it has some notable optional extras, such as the enhanced braking kit from AP Racing, the carbon fiber exterior pack and the essential Air Conditioning!

This Exige S was delivered to its first owner at the Lotus dealership in Porto in February 2008 and now has 49,000 km. It is delivered with a triplicate key, manuals and service book.
