A simply stunning, low-mileage, limited-edition Land Rover with just over 10,000 miles and in commensurate condition
Full servicing history (last at 10,613 miles) and complete book-pack
Supplied new via a Scottish dealership and taken by its owner to the Caribbean where it remained for many years; re-patronised to the UK and put into professional storage before being fully serviced
The SVX 60th Anniversary Edition, 1 of 300 examples built worldwide (only 70 of which were station wagons) and only 90 cars in total came to the UK
The SVX shares its mechanical layout with the standard Defender, including the same recently revised (as of 2008) 2.4-litre four-cylinder Ford turbo-diesel engine; it also gains Recaro seats, big wheels and distinctive brightwork, including a silver coloured grille and headlamp surround
Flatter-riding than any previous Defender courtesy of some subtle, SVX-only improvements to the damping, making it much more comfortable
Recaro seats support occupants far better and transform the quirky driving position from the regular Defender
