Lancia Fulvia 1.3 S series II
Designed by Piero Castagnero and launched in 1963 at the Geneva Motor Show, then marketed in 1965, the Fulvia underwent interesting modifications with the 2 series which appeared in 1969.
The 1300 S 90hp “Series 2” Coupé will greatly benefit from the technical innovation derived from racing, with the adoption of a 5-speed “reverse” gearbox, with the 1st at the bottom left, a more efficient braking system (SuperDuplex) and a more reliable electrical system with alternator and halogen headlights.
What characterizes a Fulvia above all else is its aggressive and willful V4 engine, which only asks to climb high in the towers. Developing 90 DIN hp, its two Solex C 35 carburettors and its exhaust give it a bewitching sound ...

Dessinée par Piero Castagnero et lancée en 1963 au Salon de Genève, puis commercialisée en 1965, la Fulvia connut des modifications intéressantes avec la série 2 qui apparut en 1969.
Le Coupé 1300 S de 90cv « Série 2 » va grandement bénéficier de l’innovation technique dérivée des courses, avec l’adoption d’une boîte de vitesses « inversée » à 5 rapports, avec la 1ere en bas à gauche, d’un système de freinage plus efficace (SuperDuplex) et d’un système électrique plus fiable avec alternateur et phares halogènes.
Ce qui caractérise avant tout une Fulvia, c’est son moteur V4, agressif et volontaire, qui ne demande qu’à monter haut dans les tours. Développant 90 ch DIN, ses deux carburateurs Solex C 35 ainsi que son échappement lui confèrent une sonorité envoûtante…
