Description
Chassis no. 818.540*1816
Engine no. 818.540 2264676 Registered on 30 April 1970.
The car belongs to the founder of the C.S.A.I. rally school, and has always been with the same family. It raced in period, driven by its owner, recording some success.
Still with its original engine and gearbox.
The mechanics were recently completely overhauled and the car has not been used since.
The bodywork has undergone some work in the past. It now shows some signs of age. The car has a pair of additional Carello Megalux headlights, fitted and working.
Part of the instrumentation is not original (the Veglia speedometer and rev. counter are both modern).
Gr.4 engine preparation. The car has all the necessary equipment to participate in rallies and historic car regularity events. It just needs to undergo the final check to obtain its FIA technical passport.
Always within the same family its two registered owners are actually related: the uncle used it to race before passing it on to a nephew.
It comes with many period-correct accessories, Sparco seats, roll bars, 6-point belts all FIA-approved. The original 36 cm diameter Ferrero steering wheel is included in the lot.
The car is ASI certified and also has the ASI certificate of historical importance. FISA certification fiche available.
