Debuting in 2006, the uprated LP640-4 gained 300 cc over the standard Murciélago to round the statement V-12 engine—which could trace its roots back to the first-ever Lamborghini road car, the 350 GT—up to 6.5 litres. As the name suggested, it produced 640 horsepower via a four-wheel-drive system.
Delivered new to the Middle East in April 2007, this Murciélago LP640-4 Coupé was finished in the stunning shade of Viola Ophelia. It is believed that only one other example left the factory wearing this colour. The car offered here teams its beautiful purple exterior hue with a two-tone mauve and cream leather interior that features exquisite diamond stitching.
Configured with a six-speed “E-Gear” automated-manual transmission and nose lift system, this car was previously registered in Monaco and subsequently acquired by the Danish consignor in April 2022.
Please note, according to Lamborghini service records this car was fitted with a replacement instrument panel in February 2008. Then noted as having covered 10,191 kilometres, the LP640-4 displayed 7,192 kilometres at the time of cataloguing for a total of 17,383 kilometres. A Kreissieg exhaust system has been installed, while the Murciélago is accompanied by its factory tool roll, Lamborghini servicing gloves, and a tyre inflator kit.
