Description

One of, if not the most collectible Diablos to leave the factory, this Diablo SE30 wears its original specification of Titanium over a Blue suede interior. Production number 064 is 1 of just 150 examples to be constructed by Lamborghini.

Originally delivered new to Austria in 1996, the car was regularly driven and enjoyed by just 2 owners before being imported into the U.K. by its third and final keeper in 2020. Since its arrival to the U.K. the SE30 has been subject to preparation works via Lamborghini Leicester.

Accompanying the SE30 are both sets of keys, original manual pouch, Diablo manual, SE30 supplement manual, sales and service organisation booklet, supporting history file with numerous invoices and receipts.

This presents a timely opportunity to own one of the rarest, most collectible and highly desirable versions of the Diablo guise, 1 of just 150 examples to leave the factory. The car presents excellently throughout and would be suitable for a fine collection.

Launched in 1993, the Diablo SE30 was built to commemorate Lamborghinis 30th anniversary and limited to a production run of just 150 cars worldwide. Ultimately, the SE30 was lighter and more powerful than a standard Diablo, featuring numerous changes to the engine and cosmetically.

The engine now produced 523 horsepower, achieved with the aid of a modified fuel system, magnesium intake manifolds and free-flowing exhaust system. The car retained its RWD guise to save weight and carried over the electronically adjustable shock absorbers found on the VT. In the cars centre console is a switch which allows the driver to manually adjust the stiffness of the anti-roll bars.

The SE30s exterior had some distinctive features which differed from other Diablo models, including a new front bumper with a deeper spoiler which also incorporated straked brake cooling ducts. The raging bull badge was moved to the front bumper of the car, rather than being traditionally fitted to the front boot lid. The rear cooling ducts of the SE30 were also changed, now designed in a vertical manor and finished in the cars body colour. The engine lid now had slats covering the rear window with a larger spoiler installed at the rear. Magnesium, 5 spoke O.Z Racing alloy wheels were also specially designed for the SE30, completed with ‘’Special Edition’’ printed on them.

Weight saving was achieved with the use of numerous materials and changes, but the most noticeable feature from the exterior was the use of a fixed plexiglass panel on both the driver and passenger window. A small sliding vent located at the bottom rear corner of each panel is manually operated from the car’s interior. Other changes included the removal of air conditioning, stereo and power steering. Carbon fibre seats with optional 4-point race harnesses and a fire suppression system were also added, further complimenting the SE30s race influenced ethos.
