When Ferrari debuted the 458 Italia in 2009, it marked a massive shift in design and technology, and stands today as the brand’s final naturally aspirated, mid-engine V-8. As with nearly every mid-engine car from Ferrari, shortly after the coupe went on sale, they debuted the open-top spider. This was the first mid-engine Ferrari fitted with a power-folding hardtop, which both looked better and offered greater practicality than the fabric-topped F430 Spider, while also weighing less. The 4.5-liter V-8 produced 562 hp and revved to 9,000 rpm, but the biggest change was the gearbox. Using a seven-speed double-clutch transaxle, the 458 managed astonishingly fast shifts during performance driving but, unlike the older F1-style gearboxes, remained smoother around town.

This 2014 Ferrari 458 Spider is finished in Rosso Corsa (Racing Red) over black leather and showed just 5,705 miles at the time of cataloguing.
