The Ferrari 330 GT succeeded the highly successful Ferrari 250 GTE. It was a Tom Tjaarda design, whilst working at Pininfarina at the time. A very stylish 2+2 coupe that, like its predecessor, translated into significant success for the brand. The 330 GT we currently have in our inventory is the beloved Interim version: meaning the car has the front end of the first series but already sports a manual five-speed gearbox and suspended pedals from the second series.
The stylish dark green 330 GT you see here dates back to 1965. 'Verde Metallizzato' suits the Ferrari beautifully and is also a colour not often seen on a 330. The body is in beautifully restored condition, finely aligned with nice even gaps between the body panels. The paintwork is in excellent condition, and the same goes for chrome parts, as well as rubbers, glass, and lighting components. The beloved Borrani wheels are also a very nice feature. The car exudes class in every way, the wealth of yesteryears.
The interior has also been fully restored with the rest of the car. This has resulted in an incredibly beautiful place to be in. The very high-quality leather used for the seats and other parts, the beautiful wood that covers most of the dashboard, and beautiful meters and buttons, together with the formidable steering wheel, create an unprecedented amount of style in the interior. The carpets, door panels, and other parts were beautifully restored, making the atmosphere inside the car splendid. Of course, all control elements and gauges function perfectly.
The Matching Numbers 4.0-liter Tipo 209 V12 delivers about 300 hp. About this fabulous engine, we can be brief: it is perfection personified. The engine was revised right down to the smallest detail and actually completely rebuilt by Piet Roelofs. This means that the engine should actually be considered as being completely new, while retaining the original parts and numbers that matter. It simply does not get any better. What a sound and performance, but at the same time, the 330 is also characterised by unparalleled flexibility. A 330 GT may not be equipped with the typical gear pattern at the gear lever, but the typical 'click' when changing gears is beautifully audible.
The underside of the spacious Ferrari is also excellent, which also applies to the brakes and suspension. The car is comfortably set up and is thus an amazing touring car that is happy to be driven at sporty speeds.
