This gorgeous and timeless ID 20 is a Swiss delivered example and was handed over to its first owner, a baker by profession, in September 1970 through the Garage Moderne in Sion. As can be seen in the documentation available, he remained faithful to his Citroën until at least 1984 and during that time made sure the car received regular maintenance. The last entry in the service booklet dates from the 28th August 1984 at then 66’000 kilometres. After that time the coachwork of the ID received a partial restoration which included a repaint of the roof and some side panels. The interior, in black vinyl, is most likely still original and the 89’400 kilometres indicated most probably correspond to the actual mileage. In 2023 the elegant French lady was taken over by the vendor and used regularly. The carpets as well as the accumulators of the hydraulic suspension have recently been replaced. Currently this absolute icon from the 60s and 70s is in good to very good condition and will be handed over to a new owner with a veteran MOT from June 2020.
