Description
CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER M 1009 FROM 1984.
V8 DIESEL ENGINE. SAND BEIGE METALLIC WITH GREEN LEATHER INTERIOR. NEW SOFT TOP WITH HOOD STICK SET IN BLACK COLOR. The Chevrolet K5 Blazer is GM's smallest full-size SUV, it is part of the Chevrolet truck family and its twin brother is the GMC "Jimmy". Both were short-wheelbase trucks and available with four-wheel drive. Around 1976, a prototype K5 Blazer was used as a test bed for a CUCV military vehicle built by Vic Hickey, father of the HUMVEE. Between 1983 and 1987, what became known as the M1009 CUCV was the production militarized version of the civilian K5. The differences are an additional leaf spring on the suspension, a 12/24V hybrid electric system, blacked-out headlights, front fenders, rifle racks and special paint jobs. Most of them are painted olive green.
