Description
"The Cadillac Calais was the entry-level model that was sold from 1965 to 1976. Cadillac renamed its low-priced Series 62 in 1965 as the ‘Calais’, after the French city of Calais. The tailfins were canted slightly downward, and sharp, distinct body lines were featured. The rear bumper was straight and the rear lamp clusters were vertical. The headlight pairs were vertical, permitting a wide grille. The primary differences between the Calais and the De Ville were trim levels and standard equipment. While the De Ville was delivered with such amenities as electric windows and electric seats as standard equipment, these were optional on the Calais, standard equipment included power brakes, power steering and automatic transmission.
This four-door saloon Cadillac was delivered by Parkwood Motors Limited in Toronto, it was supplied with electric windows, white wall tyres and a radio. She was imported into the UK in 2000 and presents in very good order. The striking blue coachwork is complemented by ample chromework; these are superb looking vehicles with great lines. We are advised this car drives well with no known faults, with the 427c.u. engine running well and sounding superb. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 12th July 2020, this Cadillac Calais looks to offer outstanding value for money."
