Deutsch Erstauslieferung in 1. Hand - der BMW Z1 Roadster.

Das Z steht für Zukunft: Ursprünglich wurde der BMW Z1 als Forschungsfahrzeug von der 1985 gegründeten BMW Technik GmbH unter der Leitung von Ulrich Bez entwickelt. Der Roadster mit Front-Mittelmotor, Stahlblech-Monocoquechassis, Kunststoff-Außenhaut und Türen, die auf Knopfdruck in den Seitenschwellern verschwinden, kannte kein Vorbild und begeisterte als Fahrzeugstudie 1987 das Publikum der Internationalen Automobil-Ausstellung in Frankfurt.

Letztendlich schaffte es der BMW Z1 dann 1988 auch zur Serienreife: Selbst die versenkbaren Türen erhielten die Straßenzulassung und verliehen dem BMW Z1 von Anfang an Kultstatus. 8.000 Exemplare umfasste die damalige BMW Kleinserie, welche die beliebte BMW Z Modellreihe begründete.

Der hier gezeigte Wagen wurde am 4. April 1990 im BMW-Produktionswerk München gebaut und ein paar Tage später, am 24. April 1990, ausgeliefert an eine BMW-Vertretung in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Der Wagen wurde vom Erstbesitzer bestellt in der Farbe Top-Rot (Lackcode 257). Als Interieur wählte der Besteller schwarzes Leder (Polstercode 0300).

Der Wagen ist heute im März 2025 noch im Erstbesitz. Zum Lieferumfang gehört das originale Z1 Serviceheft, die originale Betriebsanleitung, das originale BMW-Service Händlernetz-Buch (1989/90) sowie die Betriebsanleitung des BMW-Autoradio inklusive dessen Radiopass.

Zahlreiche Service und TüV-Dokumente belegen die Fahrzeughistorie sehr umfangreich.

German first delivery from its original owner - the BMW Z1 Roadster.

The Z stands for future: the BMW Z1 was originally developed as a research vehicle by BMW Technik GmbH, founded in 1985 and headed by Ulrich Bez. The roadster with front-mid engine, sheet steel monocoque chassis, plastic outer skin and doors that disappear into the side sills at the touch of a button had no precedent and thrilled the audience at the 1987 International Motor Show in Frankfurt as a vehicle study.

The BMW Z1 was finally ready for series production in 1988: even the retractable doors were approved for road use, giving the BMW Z1 cult status right from the start. The BMW small series at the time comprised 8,000 units, which established the popular BMW Z model series.

The car shown here was built at the BMW production plant in Munich on 4 April 1990 and delivered a few days later, on 24 April 1990, to a BMW dealership in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. The car was ordered by the first owner in the colour top red (paint code 257). The customer chose black leather for the interior (upholstery code 0300).

The car is still in first ownership today. The scope of delivery includes the original Z1 service booklet, the original operating instructions, the original BMW service dealer network book (1989/90) and the operating instructions for the BMW car radio including its radio pass.

Numerous service and MOT documents provide extensive evidence of the vehicle's history.
