Description

The BMW E30 is the second-generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21. The range included two-door coupe and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in four-door saloon and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by either a four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol or six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive. The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and the BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform.

This very well-kept example of this hugely popular 'yuppy' convertible by BMW is presented in dark blue with a beige interior and has a dark blue manually operated hood. The car was purchased and registered to Lease Contracts which was then transferred to the owner's name in 1991 (he having been the name on the lease contract) therefore only having one driver since new with the V5 registration document showing one former keeper. It comes with its original Blaupunkt stereo, electric windows, original service book showing seven stamps and the history file contains other service receipts and records with its last service being carried out in July 2023 at 57,342 miles. The history file also contains old MoT test certificates, original books, manuals and it comes with two sets of keys and a new MoT test certificate, which expires in January 2026. A true classic which has reached 'cult' status and is powered by the smooth six-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Consigned by James Good
