Description
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
3.000 kms
One of 1,672 units built by BMW, representing the company’s first turbocharged car - producing an incredible 170hp at almost 6,000 rpm and a top speed of well over 200 km/h.
The car is powered by the tried and tested 4-cylinder engine used successfully in the 2002 ti and 2002 tii. With the added Kühnle, Kopp and Kausch turbocharger (KKK) and Kugelfischer petrol injection, the car was turned into one of the benchmark sports cars of its generation, accelerating to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds.
This car is finished in the Chamonix (white) color with the M stripes and rubber deck lid spoiler. The interior has the Sporting seats with perforated leatherette and the iconic three instruments on a red dashboard. The car sits on the Goodyear Eagle NCT 2 tires with 13” Campagnolo alloy wheels, with a deep front air dam and bolt-on rear wheel arches - making for an aggressive and powerful stance.
The car has been thoroughly checked over by our technicians and is in perfect working condition, having just received a new radiator and thermostat.
