The Bentley S3 was a supremely stylish motorcar dating back to the 1950s with the enhanced Continental model taking this to an even higher level. The coupe body, by coachbuilders Park Ward, is beautifully refined while remaining purposeful and with a strong road presence. This particular S3 Continental left the Park Ward Willesden factory and delivered to Jack Barclay Ltd before changing hands and leaving for foreign climbs. With time spent in the USA followed by the Middle East, it was then repatriated back to its country of manufacture, the UK, in 2022.

As it stands today, the condition is generally good throughout, featuring classic two-door coupe Continental styling. The panel-gaps and shut lines look good while subtle tailfins add an additional yet subtle feeling of speed even whilst stationary. To the fore, the imposing chromed Bentley radiator with winged 'B' emblem ensure this car's pedigree with the white paintwork is thought to be original. The chrome trim is well polished and all the lamp lenses seem clear with the distinctive offset Halogen headlamps an interesting feature complemented by an additional pair of Lucas foglamps mounted to the front bumper. The car runs on steel wheels with large, chromed hubcaps whist under the bonnet lies the extremely capable 6.2 litre, V8 engine delivering power through an automatic gearbox with power steering and servo-assisted brakes.

The interior has recently been detailed further enhancing the sumptuous leather seating and highly-figured burr walnut veneer dashboard and door trims. The lacquer appears to be free from scratches, chips and lifting and a full complement of instruments can be found surrounding the traditional steering wheel although it should be noted that there is some minor condensation within one or two of the gauges. The original tinted smoked glass sun visors can still be found in situ to shade the occupants when required. It was originally specified with Sundym glass to the rear windows and rear quarter lights. To complete the luxurious package, a full length sunroof was specified by the first owner as well as an electric arial, electric windows and rear coat hooks as can be seen by the enclosed copy of the original Bentley build sheets. A full one year MoT test certificate has been included, signed off with relative ease and further trouble-free motoring for all the family can be looked forward to.
