Conditions
The Mini Cooper S: the symbolic design of a generation. Of course we are talking about one of the most fun, easy to handle, sensitive and simply wonderful cars ever built. Specifically, we are talking about a Unicorn: the 1969 Cooper S MKII. Car in amazing conditions. Very rare because it is well preserved after a careful restoration done more than 20 years ago. The bodywork is in excellent condition with some signs of wear over time, but restored in its original Snowberry White color. Mechanically the car has always been maintained and recently the Hydroelastic system (perfectly functional) was restored and a complete service. The details of this car already registered with CSAI, with the British Motor Heritage in our possession, show that the Mini falls into the Matching Number category. Ready to be driven by an enthusiast or possibly for those who want to participate in small regularity races. A myth on wheels that creates incomparable emotions thanks to its driving and above all to the cockpit that transmits a 70s feeling. The engine sings like only a Cooper S can do. Double oversized tank. Overhauled. Just waiting to be driven.
Curiosity
In 1967 the second series Mini (MK2) was introduced, which was produced until 1969. In truth the changes were modest and diversified depending on the versions. Austin and Morris Mini saloons (including Coopers) adopted a new (widened) grille, a slightly enlarged rear window and rectangular rear lights (without reversing light) and a single-tone black interior (Cooper and Cooper S).
