Description
- 'Goldfinger' Bond car spec of Silver Birch over Bond Grey
- Rare example of a Factory Specified Series V Vantage, 1 of just 90 produced
- Freshly restored by R.S. Williams in 2024
Built in March 1963, this DB4’s factory build sheet reveals it is an original Vantage specification DB4 Series V, just 1 of 90 produced by the Newport Pagnell factory. Specified with the extras of overdrive, chrome wheels and heated rear screen, it was delivered to its first owner in London.
Fresh from a restoration by ourselves here at RS Williams this DB4 Series V Vantage has been restored to the specification of arguably the most famous car in Aston Martin's history. The 'Goldfinger' Bond car used during filming was actually a DB4 Series V Vantage prototype, this car, now finished in Silver Birch over Bond Grey Connolly leather, is now an exact recreation of that very famous car.
The current owner entrusted R.S. Williams to give this DB4 a much-deserved full in-house restoration. The car we are pleased to offer to you today is the culmination of a meticulously thorough restoration with no detail spared, from a complete engine rebuild to 4.7Litre RS Williams spec, to a retrim and respray. No expense has been spared in the restoration of this car, making it a fantastic proposition for an enthusiast or collector to take over custody of and enjoy just as Sean Connery did in 1964.
All sales are complete with a full 12-month parts and labour guarantee. A fine example ready to be driven and enjoyed. Purchase with peace of mind from one of the world’s most renowned Aston Martin experts.
