Description

-Silver with Red leather interior and Red carpeting, 4-speed David Brown gearbox, Number matching, RHD, Original color combination, Fully Restored, Chrome wire wheels.

The Series 1-2 examples are considered by many to be the most beautiful of the DB4 range due to its Egg Crate Front Grille, Larger Front Bonnet Scoop and Straight Rear Cathedral Tail-lights all part of the original Touring of Milan design.

This DB4 has comprehensive records during its lifetime and to date. It is well known and respected AMOC circles and throughout its ownerships to date. This DB4 has been the subject of a complete restoration by well-known marque specialists, Steel Wings circa 2004 and at a cost of $300,000 and remains exceptional condition in all areas. In 2010, this DB4 was purchased from then owner, Mr. M. Bowman, Westchester, New York who had the restoration performed by Steel Wings by Autosport Designs. It was kept in the ownership of Tom Papadopoulos for several years and until resold to a well-known New York collector, Mr. A. Lindemann. During this time, it was maintained by Autosport Designs. Traded to Autosport Designs by Mr. Lindemann in 2012 toward another significant Aston, this DB4 was sold almost immediately Mr. M. Odierna a well-known collector and resident of Greenwich, Connecticut.

While in Mr. Odierna's ownership, it was returned to Steel Wings for constant routine servicing as well as updates and sympathetic reconditioning to keep this DB4 is superb condition throughout. It comes with all service records during its most recent ownership.

Consigned to Autosport Designs by Mr. Odierna in 2019, this DB4 was sold to its most recent custodian and well-known collector here in Long Island. During this ownership the DB4 has received a full service maintenance, filters and fluids, new battery, updated 1-2-3 electronic ignition system and new Avon period tires. It has been shown at various concours, shows incredibly well and has been awarded at the 2021 Greenwich Concours. Sold in 2021 to yet another enthusiast collector, it has just been taken on trade towards a DB4 Series IV from our inventory, this time, an original LHD example and more suitable to driving in the USA.

It is complete with restoration records, maintenance receipts, owner's manual, factory tool kit and factory jack. It has won several concours awards throughout the years and upon recent road testing, we can confirm it run and drives as good as it looks. Well known to Autosport Designs and once owned by myself (Tom Papadopoulos) personally, this DB4 Series II is a welcomed addition to any collection. It is a dependable and fast Aston eligible for some of the world's finest concours events and vintage road rallies. It has no disappointments.
