Description
1964 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA SUPER
Unregistered
Chassis n° AR558758
• Interesting Giulia Super first series
• Sold new in Bergamo
• Iconic model
As confirmed by the historical service of Alfa Romeo, this car was sold on 9 December 1964 in Bergamo, in "medium cobalt blue". In 2007, while in the Florence region, it was bought by a Belgian collector, who then sold it to Baudouin Lempereur.
Today, it is on offer in used condition, with imperfect paintwork and some traces of corrosion at the bottom of the windshield area, and on the front apron. The interior is partially original, and the seats are covered. This is one of the first versions of the Giulia Super, with a dashboard equipped with three round counters in a row and pedals fixed to the floor.
But unlike most of the early Giulias that came out of the Arese factories, it was fitted with a more pleasant and sportier gear lever on the floor. The odometer reads 51,101km and the engine is aspirated by two Weber carburetors with mesh trumpets.
This Alfa Romeo is therefore an affordable base for an enthusiast, who, with some work, would like to own a much desirable first series Giulia Super.
