Description
A direct response to the Porsche 911, the 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint is one of the purest examples of a classic Italian sports car. Known for its nimble handling, good looks, and intoxicating exhaust note these represent some of the most fun you can have on the road without risking your license. The car we have here was acquired from the collection of a noted Italian car enthusiast who maintained it with a true no-expense-spared "open-checkbook" policy, resulting in one of the finest condition early '60s Alfas we've ever seen. In classic racing red over rare blue interior with an incredibly strong running engine, this Giulia Sprint 1600 GT is your ticket to La Dolce Vida. Still fitted with her matching numbers engine and gearbox, the 1600 on weber carburetors is a lively sensation.
Unique ownership:
After the first owner kept the Alfa for almost 50 year, the second owner treated the car to a high level, body-off restoration in 2010. A photoset of the restoration is available.
The car remained in the collection of the second owner until the third owner purchased the car in 2022. During this ownership, a major service was done and the car was stored in the personal collection alongside many other Italian beauties. We personally drove the car to our warehouse and are now offering this car on behalf of the third and current owner.
