Description

Launched at the Geneva Salon in 1966, the Alfa Romeo Spider remained in production for the next 28 years and became a 'long seller', based on a prototype created by Pininfarina in the 1950s. With classic styling and advanced mechanical specifications, the Alfa Romeo was powered by a twin-cam 1600 cc engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. 1967 saw the introduction of the 1750 Spider Veloce with a 1779 cc engine, followed in 1968 by the 1,290 cc Spider 1300 Junior was introduced. This model is known worldwide for its use in the film The Graduate.

In 1970, the Spider 1300 Junior underwent a minor change, with a cam-tail, which was a major visual change. The following year, the 2000 Spider Veloce was launched with a 1962 cc engine: a 2-litre, four-cylinder, eight-valve engine with double overhead camshafts, mated to a five-speed transmission, maximum power 131 bhp (133 PS/98 kW) at 5500 rpm, Maximum torque 182N-m (134lb-ft/18.6kgm) @ 3000rpm. With an excellent ride, sharp handling and disc brakes, it can go with the flow in modern traffic conditions.

This vehicle was sold 2 years ago and has been serviced by us. It was restored by an Alfa Romeo specialist shop in the Netherlands before being imported to Japan, and the first owner in Japan has gradually finished every detail. The combination of the ivory body and Bordeaux interior is stunning. You will be able to fully enjoy the Italian car style.
