Conditions
A legend that returns. GTA. An acronym that has led Alfa Romeo to win everywhere. A name that has marked the sporting history of the automobile. A legend born in 1965 with the Giulia Sprint GTA. A return to the high-performance sports car segment. The model presented is an Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Sportwagon. For those who want the best in terms of sportiness, every day, without excessive ostentation. A very rare example due to its Alfa Red colour, much less present on the Sportwagon version, and its number of units produced: only 1174 in the manual GTA Sportwagon version. Aesthetically we find a model 92% in its first paint with the typical signs of its sinuous, sensual and provocative lines. Like the rear bumper that integrated the air extractor and the exhaust terminals, the enlarged mudguards and the lowered trim. Mechanically this model offers an unprecedented "Busso" that has power curves capable of reaching high values even at low revs. An engine always available and ready to unleash all the power needed or wanted, in maximum safety. Specifically always serviced and in excellent condition for its 128,000 km. In mixed conditions the GTA has few rivals because they are equipped with ABS, EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution) simply the brake distributor, ASR (Anti Slip Regulation) regulation of slippage in acceleration, which includes the regulation of the braking torque MSR (Modulate System Regulation) and finally the famous ABD (Automatic Brake Differential Lock) the self-locking differential. Internally the passenger compartment, thanks above all to the dashboard and the GTA upholstery, is presented in total leather in excellent condition, with a sporty and captivating shape. Heated seats, adjustable nose and integrated headrest and electric backrest adjustment. This example is equipped with the complete carpet and ASI certification.
Curiosity
The GTA variants shared the interior with the common 156. The doors, trunk and hood were also shared. Everything else was unique to the GTA, made specifically by the Fiat Research Center and the Maserati Research Center. The steering was also made quicker, only 1.7 turns for a full lock compared to 2.1 in the normal models.
