The MV Augusta 350 S, built from 1970 to 1974 and offered in several versions, was supposed to be replaced by a new model which was meant to resemble - at least optically- the 4 cylinder models of MV Agusta. A design study by Giorgio Giugiaro shown to the press in November 1973 showed striking horizontal lines and sharp, pronounced contours which, from 1974, were taken over by the Ipotesi. The bike offered was imported into Switzerland from Italy in 1989 and taken over by the last owner around 25 years ago. With the intention of having the MV restored eventually, it was stored in a shed. Since then, the Ipotesi has not been started but the engine is free and the bike can be pushed. The little Italian is mostly complete and offers a good restoration basis. It will be sold with Swiss customs duties paid but without any further documentation
