Description
Ducati MHR 900, the "Mike-the-bike" Hailwood Replica, year 1982.
Same owner since May, 1983, rarely used!
This is the last Ducati bike with valve timing by shafts and bevel pair, as defined by technical press "a milestone of the old italian motor school of the seventies"!
The MHR was presented at London Show in 1979, just one year after the the victory of Mike Hailwood at Tourist Trophy (Formula TT class) on a Ducati 900 SS NCR, overcoming all the powerfull japanese special bikes.
This speciale MHR is painted in unique and special and elegant "all red livery" upon request of the buyer in the early '80s, instead of the normal green-white-red Castrol logo (the normal painting of the MHR was not an italian flag, but comes from the colours of Castrol logo).
The bike had a complete service in March 2024, including: engine oil and filter, spark plugs, battery, new kit seal-jet-floater for carburetors, new gasoline tap, tank internal anti-rust treatment.
The bike is in Milano, Italy.
