James Bond (Daniel Craig) and his beloved Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) sailed aboard this beautiful yacht in Casino Royale, along the Grand Canal into Venice. It was the first yacht of this type to sail on the canal in over 300 years; a momentous feat only possible after the mast was deconstructed in order to pass under a bridge.
It was built entirely by hand at Spirit Yachts in the UK, and comprises two double cabins (both with en-suite bathrooms), a spacious living area and, most obviously, a classically elegant mahogany topside and several teak decks, ideal for lounging in the sunshine. Since starring in the film, it’s been treated to a complete refit, and Soufrière (as it’s now been christened) is now being offered for sale during the London On-Water Show at St. Katharine Docks from 4-7 May 2015. If you’d like to take the helm of this fabulous yacht and follow in the wake of 007 with your partner, we can think of few more elegant – and appropriate – vessels on which to do so. We’re certain that your ending would be happier than that Bond himself endured…
