This Marc Newson-designed Riva Aquariva is a floating work of art

Arguably no other boat manufacturer carries the same gravitas as Riva, and this like-new Aquariva designed by Marc Newson could be yours for less than half its original value.

We don’t know about you, but after we win the lottery and are shopping for an aquatic runabout, there’s only one name we’d accept - and that’s Riva. Effectively the Ferrari of the high seas, Rivas arguably carry more appeal than any other vessel, and that’s especially true in the case of this Marc-Newson Designed Aquariva. Named Rivage, this fine boat was built in 2011 and was the last of the five like it made, although initially a production run of 22 was planned.

Rivage is currently docked in Venice, where it looks perfectly at home. It’s engines are practically brand new and have only seen 50 hours of running time. A boat like this is as close as you’ll get to owning a floating museum piece, after all Marc Newson’s work can be found in many world-renown museums, such as the MoMA New York, the Design Museum London, Le Centre Pompidou Paris. With ample room for 8 lucky passengers and capable of reaching 41 knots, we can’t conceive of a more stylish way to enjoy the mediterranean this summer. If Rivage floats your boat, then look no further.
