In the 15 years since Bentley entrusted Breitling with the task of designing an onboard clock for its Continental GT, we’ve seen numerous timepieces that embody the shared values of the two luxury brands, namely ultra-high quality, timeless design, and strong performance. Now, the next chapter of the partnership is set to be written. Rather than a separate Bentley collection, Breitling will incorporate its new Bentley watches into its core range, kicking off with the Premier B01 Chronograph 42.

Recalling the ‘Blower’

Aesthetically, the understated piece is dominated by dial finished in British Racing Green and the milled and engraved ‘Bentley’ plate adorning the side of the 42mm case, the latter of which was inspired by the dashboard of the historic Bentley ‘Blower’ from 1929. Power is drawn from Breitling’s in-house Caliber 01 movement, boasting an impressive 70-hour power reserve, while buyers will have the choice of a stainless-steel bracelet or a green leather strap (our favourite). The watch will cost 7,800 euros including taxes, though exercising patience may be worthwhile – a limited edition piece celebrating Bentley forthcoming centenary will arrive in the new year.
