At Goodwood Revival this weekend? Don't miss this collaboration

Already set to be a stand-out event, Goodwood Revival has one last surprise ahead of this year’s event, officially unveiling a collaboration with artists Daniel Arsham and Team Ikuzawa.

One name stands for an ambitious, trend-setter who sees the world through as a collection of artefacts, the other brings a deep racing heritage and a name that is responsible for the first Porsche factory driver from Japan, and the first Japanese driver at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The third addition brings something entirely different to the two names, cementing itself as Britain’s go-to destination for all things speed, using its Revival as the ultimate location to release what is likely to be one of the hottest collections of the year.

All three bring entirely different perspectives, but the combination has led to father-son duo Emanuele Pirro, former Formula 1 driver and five-time Le Mans winner, and Goffredo Pirro to race a bespoke-livery Porsche 904 and present an exclusive capsule collection at the Goodwood Revival this weekend.

The distinctively liveried Porsche 904, as well as the accompanying capsule collection which will be available initially only at Goodwood Revival, before heading online at a later date, has been designed by Daniel Arsham and Mai Ikuzawa. The duo have reimagined the minimalist branding of the original 1980s Team Ikuzawa race team by blending it with elements of the lunar phase, a motif commonly used by Arsham, and the sun being a central emblem of identity for Tetsu Ikuzawa. Thing combination of two designs is truly a sight to behold and is likely to cause quite a stir using the retro glamour and unmistakable charm of the Goodwood Revival as the perfect showcase.

If you’re busy steaming your wide-legged trousers and curling your hair in preparation for this weekend, be sure to mark your calendar to check out the car and collection, as well as an exclusive signing session on Saturday 7 September at 2.50pm.
