Since its first edition at Windsor Castle in 2016, Concours of Elegance has become one of the world's most prestigious collector car events besides the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. This year, we hosted our own display at Hampton Court Palace, celebrating 25 years of Classic Driver with six cars that defined our history. Now, Concours of Elegance has announced it's first offspin event in Germany. And having worked with the team on the idea for quite a while now, Classic Driver is happy to announce that we will support the event as an official partner alongside our friends at A. Lange & Söhne and RM Sotheby’s.
Taking place from 22nd to the 27th of July 2024, the six-day event will see an incredible array of 200 cars neatly placed around the grounds of Gut Kaltenbrunn at the head of Lake Tegernsee. Renowned for its breath-taking landscapes, five-star hotels and world-class dining, this region nestled in the Bavarian Alps, is the perfect place for car lovers to come together in celebration. The six days will be split into two days dedicated to the concours, and the other four to a driving tour around the region. The aim is to showcase the beauty of Tegernsee, allowing entrants to discover its crystal-clear waters, and towering mountain ranges, as well as exploring the best of Bavarian food, drink, and tradition. For those in the local area, the tour also is the perfect way to see a world-class selection of supercars and classics out on the open road, undoubtably making for some fantastic photo opportunities.
We will of course be bringing you plenty of updates as we move closer to the event next summer, where Classic Driver will play the pivotal role as the Concours of Elegance’s Media Partner. To find out more about the event, be sure to follow Classic Driver on Instagram!
