Classic Driver partners with Concorso d’Eleganza Japan

One of the most anticipated classic car events of the new year is certainly the Concorso d’Eleganza Japan, taking place in the ancient capital of Nara on 15-16 March 2025. Now Classic Driver is delighted to announce a partnership with the world-class concours event.

Six years after the last edition of the Concorso d’Eleganza Kyoto celebrated the history of Lamborghini and Zagato, one of the most exciting collector car events in Asia returns in March as the Concorso d’Eleganza Japan. Promising an experience en par with Villa d’Este and Pebble Beach while celebrating the rich cultural history of Japan, the high-level event itself takes place at the World Heritage backdrop of the Yakushiji Temple in the ancient capital of Nara – and is followed by a 7-day Tour d’Eleganza around the country.

This week, Concorso d’Eleganza Japan and Classic Driver have agreed on a media partnership for the 2025 and 2026 editions. It is truly encouraging to have Classic Driver as a media partner in support of the one and only Concorso d'Eleganza to be held at a UNESCO World Heritage site, says Hidetomo Kimura, founder of the eventWe are excited for this great opportunity to reveal to the world the wonderful collectors here in Japan and their magnificent automobiles!

“We are extremely proud to join the Concours of Japan as an official partner”, adds Classic Driver’s CEO J.P. Rathgen, who will participate in the event as a concours judge. “The richness and diversity of Japanese automotive culture never fail to fascinate us. The team led by founder Hidetomo Kimura has created fantastic concours events in the past, and we cannot wait to participate in this year’s event.”
