S/Y OPTIMIST III is a typical Abeking & Rasmussen One-Tonner built to a R.E. Carter design in 1968. Built in steel with steel ribs and mahogany superstructure, she is a very solid and seaworthy cruiser, conceived as an IOR/ RORC oceangoing race horse back then. OPTIMIST III is offered in very good condition and has been sustantially refitted in 2004/2005. She is a fast and spacious sailing yacht and could be a strong competitor for the classic One-Ton Class or any other club/ or classic yacht regatta.
