The watch is in a fully working order and is in good condition, with surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. This model features an original black dial, with yellowish hour markers, signed "Rolex", " Oyster Perpetual Date", "Submariner", "1000ft=300m", "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified", "Swiss-T<25". Time has altered the black color of the dial of this model to give it a "cobweb" effect. In fact, due to this characteristic the name given to this model is "Spider Dial". This peculiarity of the paint which turns into a "spider's web" is highly appreciated by Rolex collectors, and occurs especially in watches with a "circular edged index" dial made in the 1984 mainly. Holding central hours, minutes and seconds hands, date indicator at 3 o'clock. The case made from stainless steel, has 60-minute graduated black color bezel is uni-directional. The case measuring approximately around 40mm (1,57 inch) across excluding the crown and 48mm (1,88 inch) from lug to lug is in good condition, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Rolex” logo.
