1979 Mercedes-Benz 230G Cabriolet w460 in good condition.

This is a rare example from the first year of production of the legendary Mercedes Gelandewagen. It is also fitted with the original 4-cylinder petrol engine with carburettor.

This unit was bought brand new in Belgium in 1979. It was registered in 1990 in Spain, specifically in the city of Madrid, but has been from then until 2021 in Salamanca, which has a warm, dry climate. The car has been stored in a garage from 1997 until recently, when it was partially restored.

It has undergone a thorough overhaul with an investment of over €20,000 at a renowned expert on Mercedes-Benz classics. It is in perfect working order.

Bodywork and paintwork in very good condition. The rust on the left footboard has been removed (please see photos of the process). Original colour combination. The interior is in completely original condition and very well preserved, as can be seen in the photos.

ITV technical inspection (Spanish MOT) valid until July 2023. Delivered with the recently passed ITV valid until July 2024.

Minor defects are shown in the photos. The vehicle is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
