"After being purchased by Rolls-Royce in 1931, Bentley production was moved from London to Derby and later to Crewe. Following on from the hugely successful series of T-Series models, the next generation of cars also proved extremely capable. The Bentley Eight offered slight handling improvements and was so popular that sales expanded from the original UK market to Europe and the United States. Fuel injection and anti-lock brakes were added in 1986 with leather upholstery and power memory seats becoming standard in 1987.
