A mechanical masterpiece, a 5L V12 engine producing 300 hp, a unique design by Klaus Kapitza and a high level of technicality: this is what the 850i offered when it was launched in 1989, immediately becoming a reference within the large sports coupe segment.
This particular example was registered on 6 March 1991 and has retained an elegant "metallic lagoon green" colour with a superb interior upholstered in brown leather. It was ordered with the desirable and unconventional 6-speed manual transmission, as well as a sunroof. The technical inspection history dates back to 1966 when the car had 44,989 km and it attests the steady increase in mileage up to the 112,275 km stated during our examination. The highly reasonable mileage is substantiated by the overall good condition. The sobriety of its colour is balanced by gorgeous 18-inch Alpina rims. At the end of 2021, the car was serviced with fluid change, replacement of filters, spark plugs, and stabiliser bar silentblocs at BMW. In August 2022, brake spheres were changed, the air conditioning recharged, rims refurbished, new tyres fitted and the front axle geometry adjusted. It is obvious that the 850 is rising as a collector car, this particular example retaining the best specifications deservs genuine care.
