At the end of the war, to allow everyone to afford a car, Fiat designed a car that was inexpensive to buy and maintain: the Fiat 500. The recipe was simple: low production costs, four seats and a boot, and decent performance. In 1957, the Fiat 500 became the equivalent of the 2CV and 4CV in France and the Beetle in Germany for a whole country.

This little Fiat 500 from 1971 is in excellent condition. Purchased by the current owner and already restored by the professionals of GT Spirit in the Lyon region in 2013, it benefits from an Abarth presentation including the front grill badge, the special openwork wheels with Abath logo, the steering wheel hub and the gear knob. The mechanics remain standard and work perfectly.
The ignition system has just been rebuilt (platinum screws and coil) and the carburettor has been cleaned and adjusted. The interior is also impeccable.
The odometer reading is 48,000 km, which is probably original considering the condition of the car and its operation.
This little car is ready to take the road and bring great pleasure to its future owner.
