Beschreibung

Increasingly rare to find in this condition and with such low mileage, this exceptional 2001 DB7 Vantage is what we commonly refer to as a ‘reference example’ and ticks all the boxes for someone looking to purchase an example of the highest quality.

When considering that the original DB7 design was penned by famed stylist, Ian Callum, in the early 90’s the model is approaching 30 years old and, in our opinion, looking better and better as the years roll on! A place in the all-time car design hall of fame surely beckons for this modern classic!

First registered in July 2001, the car we are now delighted to offer is finished in Solent Silver over Parchment and Pacific Blue hides with Burr Walnut veneers. The 6-speed manual gearbox specified with this example allows the driver to utilise all the 420bhp the silky smooth V12 engine generates and provides for a more engaging driving experience.

Purchased by its previous owner in 2011 from the renowned DB7 specialists, Chiltern Aston and used sparingly since, notably competing in Aston Martin Owners Club Concours Events, where it won its class in 2015 and 2016.

Annual servicing has been previously carried out by Aston Martin Works and following a period in storage, this car is to be supplied to its next owner having been serviced and thoroughly prepared for use by our own Aston Martin factory trained technicians. Invoices relating to service expenditure and extensive MOT records are presented in the accompanying history file.

As befits the extremely low mileage of just 6,450, our workshop inspection confirms its superb, ‘concours’ condition throughout. The paintwork displays only the most minimal evidence of use and the interior cabin still presents and smells, like a new car.

Combining the soul of a classic car with the conveniences we have all become accustomed to in a modern car, the DB7 remains popular with enthusiasts of the marque and for someone looking to own an example of ‘collector grade’, equipped with the desirable manual gearbox, this is one not to be missed.

Available for viewing and demonstration now at our Hertfordshire showrooms.
