AGIP sign coming from an official gas station, used from the 70s to 1998. Agip 6-legged dog and logo are present on both faces. Perfect condition, restored, looks like new with bright colors, very rare survivor after the disposal of the AGIP brand for petrol stations. The 6-legged dog logo was created following a competition launched in 1953 on the occasion of the marketing of the new Supercortemaggiore petrol. The competition was open to all Italians and had a great success, over 4000 participants entered and the famous 6-legged dog won. The winner's proposal was reviewed and completed by Giuseppe Guzzi and became the famous brand that accompanied AGIP from 1965 to 1998. Very difficult to find in these conditions and with illuminated sign on both sides.
