15 years on from its launch, the first generation Gaydon built V8 Vantage is firmly establishing itself as one of the best buys on the Aston Martin market. It’s timeless styling and underrated driving abilities, combined with all of the luxury you would expect from our favourite marque, now combines to make the model one to buy, before it’s too late and the values of the best examples start to strengthen.

In 2006, Prodrive, who have since 2004 been responsible for running the technical and commercial operations of Aston Martin Racing, developed a range of Performance enhancements for the already capable V8 Vantage, including an engine upgrade including driver 3-way switchable exhaust, suspension package, carbon fibre aero kit and bespoke forged alloy wheels, 9kg lighter than the standard wheel.

The superb Vantage that we are pleased to now offer is one of not many V8 Vantage’s to receive the Prodrive treatment. The engine of this example is fitted with the Prodrive upgrade, lifting power output to 420bhp / 440Nm, carbon fibre rear wing and front splitter and 19” forged alloy wheels with Pirelli tyres. Road holding and handling has been improved by the fitment of Bilstein dampers and H&R lowering springs. In car communication is made easier with the fitment of a Parrot blue tooth kit.

Benefitting from a comprehensive service and maintenance history, carried out at either Aston Martin main agents or by ourselves, this car is in excellent mechanical condition and presents very well throughout, with the Meteorite Silver paintwork and Obsidian Black (with red stitching) interior showing minimal evidence of use.
