Beschreibung

1962 – Ferrari 330 P2 par SCAF – François Mortarini

Châssis : 024

In the family of the famous and talented French designer Philippe Charbonneaux for several years, this Ferrari 330 P2 was the first model of the mark created by François Mortarini and realized with the support of Ferrari SEFAC. From 1962, it allowed numerous children to get acquainted to racing cars and competition with long-distance races of 2, 6 and 12 hours organized in Le Mans in the opening race of the famous 24 hours in 1967!

This motor child car in 3/5th scale has a varnished fiberglass body and a tubular frame equipped with an engine JLO of 73cc in back central position with a centrifugal clutch. Very faithful replica to the one who took part in the 1000 km of Nurburgring in 1965 with Surtees and Scarfiotti one month after having ended second at the 24 hours of Spa with the same drivers, it is as well beautiful to look as its old sister. Eligible in Little Big Mans organized within Le Mans Classic all two years by Peter Auto, it is, beyond its size and its engine a real historic car! Please note that the windscreen is missing.
