Built on the 15 February 1957 at the Longbridge factory, the car is presented in it’s original colour combination of Ivory White with a Red leather interior. It was supplied to Rotterdam, Netherlands in left hand drive configuration where it has spent its entire life until being brought back to the UK where it received an impressive restoration.
The Healey has been converted to right hand drive and has had some great upgrades that include an Austin Healey 3000 braking system with front discs, new servo, dual master cylinder and brake cylinders. It also benefits from having an unleaded petrol conversion.
This matching numbers example comes with a documented restoration file including step by step photographs and invoices. Although MOT exempt, the car was prudently put through the process in order to verify all works carried out. It also comes supplied with a British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate.
