The very handsome coachwork design was by John Polwhele Blatchley and the car used the standard Rolls-Royce V8, 6230cc engine with an aluminium-silicon alloy block and aluminium cylinder heads with cast iron wet cylinder liners mated to a four-speed 'Hydramatic' transmission from General Motors.

Chassis CRH 2988 is a two-door FHC with the body built by H.J. Mulliner Park Ward smartly finished in Exeter Blue with grey hide, light grey Wilton carpets and a lovely 'Chippendale' wooden dashboard. It was delivered new to St. Helier, Jersey in Sept 1967 where it resided until 1976 when it was purchased by Air Vice-Marshall E.L.Colbeck-Welch. He enjoyed the car until 2003 when it left these shores bound for Washington, USA, before eventually returning to the UK in 2011.

The car is accompanied by a considerable history file with paperwork and invoices for regular maintenance and also copies of the original Rolls-Royce build sheets from 1967. The original handbooks are also present and the indicated mileage is just over 70,000 which looks credible with the vehicle's overall condition.

This is an honest example of these delightful cars and remains very original car throughout, even boasting its original radio and unused toolkit!

Genuine 1960's elegance for a reasonable guide price.
