Beschreibung

Salvador Dalí. 'Caducée I + II', 1982. Massive sterling silver, part gilded, lapis and chrome. H. 29.5 cm; H. 27.5 cm. Both bases with gilded artist's signature and excerpts from the Hippocratic Oath in German. Each with a Sterling silver plaque with artist's signature, number, publisher, publisher's seals to the underside of the bases. Each no. 71 from an edition of 100. The execution in massive silver is very rare. It is uncertain if 100 copies even have been cast.
