Swiss, No. 3421. Made circa 1800.
Fine and rare, 18K gold and painted on enamel snuff box.
Rectangular, the sides decorated with bands of opaque light blue, black and
white enamel, the base decorated to match, hinged lid with a finely painted on enamel
scene of a young couple talking in an Arcadian landscape, a panel at each side painted with vine
leaves on a blue ground.
Punch numbered on the lid flange, continental gold marks.
