Aston Martin marked its 110th anniversary in 2023 with the creation of the stunning Valour. Featuring a more angular design language reminiscent of the manufacturer’s sports cars from the 1970s and the one-off Victor coach-built commission of 2020, production for this carbon-bodied special was appropriately limited to just 110 examples. Magnificently, each paired a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V-12 with a six-speed manual transmission featuring an evocative exposed gear mechanism. Rated at 705 horsepower, the Valour is capable of howling its way up to a top speed of 207 mph.
The striking Valour offered here was, per the accompanying Certificate of Conformity from Aston Martin, completed at the Gaydon factory on 18 March 2024. Specified in the colours of the marque’s modern-day motorsport livery, the Aston Martin Racing Green 2022 paint is accented by Lime flashes for the side louvre fins, vortex-generating edges of the rear screen panel, and pinstriping on the canards. Similarly, the custom configuration places AMR Lime callipers for the carbon ceramic brakes behind 21-inch satin black honeycomb wheels.
Delivered via Aston Martin Hilversum in the Netherlands, the Valour was also finished with dark brightwork and exhaust pipes nestling in the imposing rear diffuser, plus gloss carbon fibre mirror caps. Meanwhile, the interior is finished in Forest Green with matching carpets and houses a carbon fibre lightweight seat in addition to swathes of carbon fibre and Alcantara trim. At the heart of the entire car, the six-speed manual transmission features a Mokume carbon gear knob. The total for this glorious, bespoke configuration added €160,000 to the original list price.
Showing circa just 60 kilometres on its odometer at the time of cataloguing, this virtually new Valour is ready to thrill its next owner thanks to its increasingly seldom-seen cocktail of a V-12 powerplant and an engaging manual gearbox. This Aston Martin is also the perfect companion for the matching-specification DBR22 speedster also offered as part of the Shift Online: Europe and Middle East auction.
