The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution marked a generation of car enthusiasts thanks to its dominance in the World Rally Championship!

The Evolution VIII is a notable evolution of the previous model. Compared to the EVO VII, it featured a more advanced central differential and 'Super AYC' – Active Yaw Control – to transmit more torque to the rear wheels, which significantly reduced understeer when cornering.

Under the bonnet is the well-known 4G63T engine, a 2.0 turbo that produces 265 horsepower. The all-wheel drive system, combined with the Torsen mechanical differentials, provide exceptional traction and 'ridiculous' cornering speed! All this translates into a sprint to 100 km/h in just over 6 seconds and a top speed of around 250 km/h.

On board, the Evo VIII maintains a simple layout, focused on sporty driving, with reinforced Recaro seats, Momo steering wheel and minimalist style.

This EVO VIII is a limited edition commemorating Armindo Araújo's victories in the Portuguese Rally Championship. The importer of the Japanese brand has given this sports car some extras that set it apart from the rest, such as auxiliary instrumentation on the dashboard, carbon inserts and a Remus exhaust. There is also a commemorative plaque next to the gear selector.

Purchased in April 2006 from the Mitsubishi Univex dealership in Lisbon, it is in excellent condition, having only had one owner since new and having covered only 64,000 km. It is 100% original, both mechanically and visually, has all the interventions documented and is delivered with an owner's manual, service book and duplicate key. The timing has been changed and it is fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.
