The 1957 Austin Healey 100/6 is a classic British sportscar known for its elegant styling and spirited performance. An evolution of the Austin Healey 100, the 100/6 introduced a more powerful 2.6 litre inline-six engine, delivering improved performance and smoother cruising. With its long bonnet, low stance and sleek lines, it embodied 1950s roadster charm. The 2+2 seating layout made it more versatile, while the revised chassis improved handling. Produced during the golden era of British motoring, the 100/6 was a favourite among enthusiasts for both touring and competition. Today, it's a prized collector's item, admired for its beauty and heritage.

Built in 1957, this Austin Healey 100/6 is an original right hand drive example, shipped to Perth, Australia where it lived in a dry state for most of its life before shipping to the UK in 2016. The history file and maintenance record boast a good amount of detail with history tracing back to 1976. The 2.6 litre 100/6 engine was rebuilt in the 1980's to uprate the 2.6 litres to three litres, just like a 3000 Mk. I. The car retains the original side change gearbox and was maintained by reputable Australian workshops, The Healey Factory, Melbourne where the car was purchased by the previous owner before export to the UK.

Upon arrival to the UK the car was used and enjoyed before sale to the current owner. During his tenure some light restoration and remedial repair works were undertaken by marque specialists Bill Rawles. The front suspension was rebuilt, brakes overhauled, improvements to reliability were fitted in the form of alternator conversion and electronic distributor, just to name a few. The interior was professionally retrimmed in Connolly leather, including the hood and tonneau cover. The result is the stunning example here today.
