Beschreibung
A stunning 1931 Harley Davidson Model DL restored in the late 1990s to mint condition.
Since then the Harley has formed part of a small collection of motorcycles that were all exercised regularly but never ridden extensively. The HD has stayed with the same owner for 25 plus years. In fact, prior to restoration in the late 1990s, the HD was passed from father to son, so it belonged to the same family for much longer.
The HD remains in superb condition both cosmetically and mechanically and has the look and feel of a quality restoration that was just finished. The ammeter is missing; however a quality replica ammeter will come with the bike. The original Schebler Deluxe DLX 67 carburettor is fitted.
If you are looking to add a pristine HD Model DL to your collection, this is the one.
The Model D, DL and DLD 45Cui/750cc was launched in 1929 to take up the competition of the Indian Scout and was produced from 1929 – 1931 only.
The DL was the higher compression version of the 45Cui Harley Davidson, with approximately 18.5hp available, compared to 15hp for the Model D.
The Harley Davidson has current EU registration documents.
Please get in touch for more info, photos and a video of the HD running.
