The demonic 1974 Mini 1275 GT!

This car has been fully restored from the ground up, and virtually all the ‘racing’ parts have been sourced from KAD in the UK.

The engine has been fully prepared: large forged Arrow crankshaft, forged 73.5 mm connecting rods and pistons (total displacement 1460 cm3!), 7-port aluminium cylinder head with two large Weber carburettors, special camshaft, 5-speed gearbox with reverse first gear, autoblocker... etc. The engine is very easy to use, with 125bhp and 130nm of torque.

As for the chassis, here again the entire KAD catalogue has been ripped off!
Adjustable front and rear suspension, front and rear anti-roll bars, 4 threaded combos, 6-piston front brake callipers with dual master cylinders, aviation hoses, aluminium rear beam axle with aluminium rear arms, rear disc brake kit, aluminium hubs and the famous centre-hub wheels (over €1,000 per wheel...).

The interior was also sublimated, with bucket seats from Newton, a Jean Louis Marnat dashboard, a complete screwed roll bar and a very beautiful Prototipo steering wheel.

This car cost a veritable fortune to build, and everything was done down to the smallest detail, with no expense spared.

An absolutely unique Mini, with a strong character that is unequivocal on the market. A real monster on 4 wheels!

Démoniaque Mini 1275 GT de 1974 !

Cette auto a été entièrement restaurée depuis la caisse et quasiment toutes les pièces « racing » ont été sourcées chez KAD en Angleterre.

Le moteur a été entièrement préparé : gros vilebrequin Arrow forgé, bielles et pistons 73,5 mm forgés (cylindrée totale de 1460 cm3 !), culasse 7 ports aluminium avec deux gros carburateurs Weber, arbre à came spécifique, boîte 5 à crabots avec première inversée, autobloquant… etc. Le moteur est très facile d’utilisation avec ses 125 chevaux et ses 130 nm de couple.

Niveau châssis, là encore tout le catalogue KAD a été dévalisé !
Trains avant et arrière réglables, barres anti-roulis avant et arrière, 4 combinés filetés, étriers de freins avant 6 pistons avec double maître cylindre, durites aviation, beam axle arrière en alu avec des bras arrière alu, kit freins à disque arrière, moyeux alu et les fameuses jantes à moyeux centraux (plus de 1000€ la jante…).

L’intérieur a également été sublimé, avec des sièges baquets de chez Newton, un tableau de bord Jean Louis Marnat, un arceau complet vissé et un très beau volant Prototipo.

Cette voiture a coûté une vraie fortune à monter, tout a été fait dans les moindres détails, sans compter à la dépense.

Une Mini absolument unique, avec un caractère bien trempé et sans aucun équivoque sur le marché. Un vrai monstre sur 4 roues !
